Nick Manusos, a Managing Director at Torreya, has more than 30 years experience in the life sciences industry. He has played key roles in M&A and licensing transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $30 billion.
Nick joined Torreya in 2016. Previously, he was head of global business development at Baxter; SVP of Corporate Development at SagePath Medical, where he led the sale of the company; head of international business development at Takeda; and Vice President, Business Development at TAP Pharmaceuticals.
Key notable transactions on which Nick advised prior to joining Torreya include Takeda’s $8.8 billion acquisition of Millennium, the $5 billion de-merger of TAP Pharmaceuticals, and TAP Pharmaceutical’s $200 million Prevacid OTC switch license to Novartis.
Nick graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a B.B.A. in operations management and holds an M.B.A. from the Northwestern University J.L. Kellogg School of Management.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the Susan Duncan Children’s Center.
